I'm a malaysian citizen living oversea with my wife.I wanted to come back to malaysia to live in retirement. I recently spoke with a sales agent working with the developer for the development I'm interested,. this development is in the initial stage of construction & I have seen some advertised "for sales" at prices below what the developer" have quoted me. I did asked the agent about this & he said that those adverts are only to trick you to contact them so they can present you with other developments on their books.I'm skeptical. He says that those people that signed-up with the project cannot sell their units until the whole project is finished--where they have the keys & the title. That led me to wonder if I have book a unit & my circumstances{financial} changes to the worst & as he said I can"t even sell it until its finished, what am I going to do in the meantime when I can"t paid for the next stage of the construction. I see there is no logic in what he is telling me. Pray clarify me on this issue.
